Some days I struggle to focus on the bigger picture.
I search for details and it's all still fuzzy.
In a search for peace I focus on the Prince of Peace.

So happy this plant blooms among the roses in my front flowerbed.
Because I live in the deep south I am happy for anything that blooms in fall color.
There are falling leaves but they are nothing close to the colors of crimson and gold.

we passed this tree coming in and going out
it was stunning every time we passed by
as if we didn't remember how beautiful it was the last time
25 years since we'd been to a homecoming game
so many things different and some things never change
students are still wearing black and gold overalls to the game
now our son is interning in this place we call "God's country"
