Outside my window...it is balmy, overcast and lovely.
I am thinking...end of the year assessments are needing to be done. This will provide the children and me with a plan and closure for this educational year.
I am thankful for...a sweet little zippered pouch that someone blessed me with yesterday!
From the learning rooms...read alouds, silent reading, school work and scrapbooking.
From the kitchen...pilau, if I can get my hands on some datil peppers. My mother in law gave me a plant yesterday and I am so excited. The pilau served yesterday was wonderful and left us wanting more.
I am wearing...jammies.
I am creating...two scrapbooks from the two biggest vacations our family has ever taken. One of Disney for a PopWarner Superbowl trip and New York city for a Carnegie Hall Concert.
I am going...someplace I'm sure, but this week is much less demanding than most, Praise the Lord!
I am reading...nothing non-fiction at the moment. I have several books I could start but other things seem more desirable.
I am hoping...we can move along with a large project we are facing at work.
I am hearing...the clock in the parlor chime.
Around the house...a few small messes need to be picked up and I would like laundry to be completely done for one day (for all 7 of us).
One of my favorite things...A few plans for the rest of the week: I am not sure. I hope this is a week of resting, playing and working together in harmony.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...April showers bring May flowers:)

Great picture of April showers.
What is pilau?
Enjoyed your daybook. Have a wonderful week.
I am still waiting on trying pilau. Oh and the homemade burrito.
Glad you like your zippy pouch. You may get your wish for a matching bag if I get serious on sewing instead of blogging so much. Wasting my precious time behind the machine.
I enjoyed reading your daybook. Have a great week!

I enjoyed reading your daybook - we are experiencing April showers too! I wish it were warmer, but it is chilly and damp, so we are enjoying time at home!
Pilau sounds interesting . . . I'll have to do a search on-line to see what it entails.
It was nice to visit your Daybook & blog today. :0)
I LOVE the new picture. I am so bad at keeping up these days will all our little ones home now. I still have a few things to send you too... I'll get it done I promise.
I am trying to simply life a bit more, saying no and bowing out of a few things.
Thanks again for being a sweet friend!
Blessings,
Gayly
