Simple Woman's Daybook
For today... Tuesday, July 13, 2010
Outside my window... the humidity is thick enough to see with my eyes and when I step outside it is so thick on my glasses I can not see at all.
I am thinking... I need more hours everyday. Someone must have changed the number of hours in my day and I could get more done if I didn't have to think so hard to do my once easy tasks. I really do miss my clear mind.
I am thankful for... phone calls form my boys. They are having a blast and seeing there is much out there in this great country.
From the learning rooms... movies and an ironing pile are calling us. If we play something like Planet Earth we call it learning.
I am wearing... walking clothes. I am walking again, yeah...outside instead of the treadmill. I would like to sell that if I could find someone to buy it.
I am creating... a very sweet dishrag from the very last of my NYC yarn.
I am going... for my weekly fix of ladies and knitting tonight. These ladies make me think, laugh and appreciate my life.
I am reading... non-fiction and wanting to get A Time to Embrace, Kingsbury
I am praying for... the Philippines, a typhoon was scheduled to hit there between 4 and 6 am today and we have a missionary team there now.
Pondering these words~ "Summer is my favorite season."
From the kitchen... 2 loaves of bread, an artisan italian bread for supper, a pan of cinnamon rolls, and 2 pizzas all made from my normal 4 loaves of bread recipe ~ it sure does smell good in here.
I am hoping... to have breakfast and beach time with a friend soon.
I am hearing... a radio someone left on hours ago. I do not like it when they do that and I must turn it off SOON.
Around the house... things look lived in and Uno Flash is sitting on the coffee table. This game is being played morning noon and night and we highly recommend it. Always different, little strategy and lot of laughs.
One of my favorite things... working together to accomplish a task.
A few plans for the rest of the week: trying not to think too hard about plans...come on it's Summer.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing... boy pictures. I'm sure boy #3 is dreaming about this truck somewhere right now. Notice how huge this truck was by looking at the truck in the background. p.s. I did not take this picture.

Hello Lisa,
I will pray for your missionary team. I have been to Manilla. Very poor area, those people will need our prayers and support.
I so love the smell of bread..So cozy..
Thanks for visiting my blog and your encouragement.
Blessings,
Virginia
Sorry to hear about the humidity - I hate that.
Meeting a friend for breakfast and the beach sounds like a great day!
I love the smell of baking bread. That's great that you could get that much out of one recipe.
