gingerbread coop

This is our chicken coop all dressed up and it has to be one of only a few though out all the land.

I did not have the ambition to deck the house in lights this year and so the children were disappointed. When they came to ask could they do the coop instead I eagerly replied, "yes!".

I must tell you just how nice it has been to look out the back windows and see this every night.

I would not have seen lights on our house one tenth of the nights I have enjoyed them here.

A new tradition? We'll see.
